About MaryJo, Your
Brain-based Learning Specialist
Dr. MaryJo Wagner, The Learning Doctor and a
dynamic, experienced teacher. trainer and author, has taught
brain-based learning (including
Brain Gym®))
to teachers, administrators, parents, occupational
therapists, and counselors, even rowdy teenagers in
Guatemala. She knows brain-based learning works!
Despite
being diagnosed with ADD herself (which she takes advantage
of with brain-based learning techniques), MaryJo forged
ahead through a bachelor's degree in education, two Master's

her education career teaching kindergarten in Alexandria,
Virginia and moved right through the school system, ending
up as a college professor teaching doctoral students at Ohio
State University.
MaryJo wrote a state-wide
curriculum for Oregon schools and edited elementary and high school
textbooks for Holt, Rinehart and Winston. Her 90-page Brain Gym
workbook is provided to students in her Brain Gym 101 class. She's
also written The Dream Job, a workbook for finding the job
you love; A Handbook for Oral History; and a brain-based
learning e-book for entrepreneurs called Think Like
Einstein. Her column, "Stories from the Top," appeared in
The Women's Business Chronicle.
She now teaches brain-based learning TeleChats, and also offers Brain Gym and HeartMath
workshops. All her classes and workshops are packed with
